PHP version 8.0 has reached its end of life and is no longer maintained by the PHP project.

These versions are also available as Software Collections in the remi-safe repository.

These Versions fix 4 security bugs (CVE-2024-8925, CVE-2024-8926, CVE-2024-8927, CVE-2024-9026), so update is strongly recommended.

One year after PHP 7.3, and as announced, PHP version 7.4.33 was the last official release of PHP 7.4

To keep a secure installation, the upgrade to a maintained version is strongly recommended:

• PHP 8.0 has security only support and will be maintained until November 2023.
• PHP 8.1 has active support and will be maintained until November 2023 (2024 for security).
• PHP 8.2 planed for Dec 6th will have active support and will be maintained until December 2024 (2025 for security).

However, given the very important number of downloads by the users of my repository the version is still available in remi repository for Enterprise Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Alma, Rocky...) and Fedora and will include the latest security fixes.

Warning : this is a best effort action, depending on my spare time, without any warranty, only to give users more time to migrate. This can only be temporary, and upgrade must be the priority.

Un an après PHP 7.2, et comme annoncé, PHP version 7.3.33 était la dernière version officielle de PHP 7.3

Pour maintenir une installation sécurisée, la mise à jour vers une version maintenue est fortement conseillée :

• PHP 8.0 est en mode maintenance active, et sera maintenu jusqu'en novembre 2022 (2023 pour la sécurité).
• PHP 8.1 est en mode maintenance active, et sera maintenu jusqu'en novembre 2023 (2024 pour la sécurité).

Cependant, compte tenu du nombre important de téléchargements par les utilisateurs de mon dépôt la version présente dans le dépôt remi pour Enterprise Linux (RHEL, CentOS...) et Fedora (Software Collections) est conservée et intègrera les derniers correctifs de sécurité.

Attention : il s'agit d'un action réalisée avec la meilleure volonté, en fonction de mon temps disponible, sans aucune garantie, afin de donner plus de temps aux utilisateurs pour migrer. Cela ne peut être que temporaire et la migration doit rester la priorité.

Les RPM de PHP version 8.0.13 sont disponibles dans le dépôt remi pour Fedora 35 et dans le dépôt remi-php80 pour Fedora 33-34 et Enterprise Linux (RHEL, CentOS).

Les RPM de PHP version 7.4.26 sont disponibles dans le dépôt remi pour Fedora 33-34 et dans le dépôt remi-php74 pour Enterprise Linux (RHEL, CentOS).

Les RPM de PHP version 7.3.33 sont disponibles dans le dépôt remi-php73 pour Enterprise Linux (RHEL, CentOS).

PHP version 7.2 a atteint sa fin de vie et n'est plus maintenu par le projet PHP.

Ces versions sont aussi disponibles en Software Collections dans le dépôt remi-safe et en module pour Fedora et EL ≥ 8.

Ces versions corrigent quelques failles de sécurité, la mise à jour est donc vivement recommandée.

Les RPM de PHP version 8.0.12 sont disponibles dans le dépôt remi pour Fedora 35 et dans le dépôt remi-php80 pour Fedora 33-34 et Enterprise Linux (RHEL, CentOS).

Les RPM de PHP version 7.4.25 sont disponibles dans le dépôt remi pour Fedora 33-34 et dans le dépôt remi-php74 pour Enterprise Linux (RHEL, CentOS).

Les RPM de PHP version 7.3.32 sont disponibles dans le dépôt remi-php73 pour Enterprise Linux (RHEL, CentOS).

PHP version 7.2 a atteint sa fin de vie et n'est plus maintenu par le projet PHP.
