RPM of PHPUnit version 9 are available in remi repository for Fedora ≥ 29 and for Enterprise Linux (CentOS, RHEL...).
Documentation :
This new major version requires PHP ≥ 7.3 and is not backward compatible with previous versions, so the package is designed to be installed beside versions 5, 6, 7 and 8.
Installation, Fedora and Enterprise Linux 8:
dnf --enablerepo=remi install phpunit9
Installation, Enterprise Linux 6 and 7:
yum --enablerepo=remi install phpunit9
Notice: this tool is an essential component of PHP QA in Fedora. This version should be soon available in Fedora ≥ 31 (after the review of 19 new packages).
