Back from  PHP Tour 2017 in Nantes

As for every AFUP event, organization was perfect, and I was able to meet a lot of developers and PHP users.

This year, I talk "About PHP Quality"

  • versions and release cycle
  • security management
  • PHP 7.2 roadmap
  • PHP QA and Fedora QA

I hope the attendees will retain how much stability is a priority for the project and why tests are so important, as the involvement in testing their projects with Release Candidates of stable versions (7.0.x, 7.1.x) and with Beta of future versions (7.2, 7.3, 8.0...).

Indeed, as stated by Eric, lack of time (only 35' talk) haven't allow me to enlighten enough some QA actions, p.e. I could have show some examples from  Koschei (Fedora QA for PHP).
