For some time, I was trying to understand the difference between my blog and successful modern web sites. And I found, advertising is missing.

Actually, how can we imagine a decent modern web site , without filling the space made available by our modern monitors, with these beautiful colored advertising banners which make the 21th century web so dynamic ?

Of course, to not renounce to my worth, all the banners will be about free projects.

Banners will be displayed on this blog and on the forum. but a text version will be also display during package installation from the repository, example :

More, for the very few who would like to avoid this advertising, something I'm really unable to understand, a premium access will be availalbe, without advertising, for the modest fee of 3€ per month only, 50% of this fund will be donate to various free projects I really appreciate.

Ok, this was too big, so you probably guess it was a joke.

But this is also a way to remind that I hate advertising and can't accept it on Internet (and everywhere else).

What, you don't use a blocker yet ? Time to consider installing one, such as uBlock.

This is why, the only source of funding for my free activity (so, by which I don't earn any money, but which also should have no cost for me) is your donations. Those pay quite easily the web hosting (yes, I also want to keep my independence) but are also a very good way to measure the usefulness of my work.
