For a few days, I mainly use Fedora 11 Preview. So, it's the time to detect a few remaining bugs and to tune my configuration.

Now I use the free nouveau video driver instead of the proprietary nvidia one. In previous release, the free driver were unusable with my GeForce 8500 GT. New version works perfectly.

For virtualization, I was, for a very long time, a VMware Server user, but 2.0.1 doesn't work with kernel 2.6.29.2, I could have search for a patch, but it was a good opportunity to test libvirt / kvm / qemu. Well, it's perfect et largely good enough for my needs. I just need to find the best solution to convert my old images, first tests are not really ok.

One more piece of evidence of progress done by free software .

Fedora 11 : a very good release to come.
