Salut,

Il semble qu'il y aie quelques soucis du côté des headers pour cette mise à jour de php sur le dépôt yum :

Cette erreur est aussi valable pour le paquet php-tidy, j'ai arrêté là les dégats avec un petit --exclude=php* ;)

je veux installer le package php-imap-5.1.4-2.fc5.remi.i386.rpm
mais il depend des packages
- libc-client.so.1
- php = 5.1.4-2.fc5.remi
où puis-je les trouver

Normalement YUM devrais te résoudre cette dépendance sans problème.
sinon :
- libc-client-2004g-2.2 => dépôt core
- php-5.1.4 => ici.

I have php 5.04 in my system but i need php 5.1 because it is required for installing a script. The problem is that i do not need to update also the mysql version because i use php in a plesk installaion and i need only to update the php version from 5.04 to 5.1 for installing this script.
I use Fedora Core 4. What i have to launch in yum to avoid that it update mysql ?
I need only this one : php-5.1.4-2.fc4.remi.i386.rpm but not to update the mysql.
I think it is possible.
What i have to launch in yum ?

Try running :
yum --enablerepo=remi-test install mysqlclient15
yum --enablerepo=remi update php\*

The mysqlclient15 provides the client library for mysql 5.0.x required by php-5.1.x

Thank you so much for providing PHP 5.1.4 on FC4. I had been waiting for it for a while before I found your repo. I was a little afraid to do the MySQL 5 upgrade at the same time, but it's working fine!

Yes. But Plesk 8 hate Mysql 5. And, also in this way, if i upgrade PHP 5.1 it upgrade MySql to 5. And the PLESK PANEL that require mysql 4 don't work, i think.
Before this post i have just used yum with your repository but it has destroyed the server (plesk was damaged because it require mysql 4 ).
Exist a system to avoid MYSQL UPGRADE ??? Exist a system to not allow the upgrade of MySql to 5 ?
At the moment the server is returned o.k. because i' have removed mysql completely, re-installed mysql 4, removed php 5.1. re-installed php 5.04 and restored the old mysql dump with the original php.ini but php is still 5.04. ... At the moment.

This was the command that destryed the server (now it is returned ok), because plesk panel was not accessible after the command :

Ullo99, re-read Comment #8.
mysqlclient15 only provides client library used by php.

mysql-server will not be updated as libmysqlclient.so.15, required by php-mysql, is provided.

Else, see with Plesk support.
