GLPI version 0.72

GLPI (Free IT and asset management software) version 0.72 is out. Read the Annoucement. RPM are available in remi repository. RPM will be available in the Fedora repository when all extensions will be ready.
Of course, installation is simpler with YUM :
yum --enablerepo=remi install glpi
If you still prefer to download : the repository
Don't forget extensions also available in RPM :
- glpi-data-injection 1.6.0 (CSV File import)
- glpi-dumpentity 1.0.1 (Entity export)
- glpi-loadentity 1.0.0 (Entity import)
- glpi-pdf 0.6.0 (Print to PDF)
- glpi-mass-ocs-import 1.3.0 (OCS automated synchronization)
And all the other extensions (only available as archive).
For memory, you can read the OCS and GLPI installation guide, spécialement écrit pour l'utilisation des RPM.
This is the new major version of GLPI project, with a lot of new features.
It is recommended to test migration and try new features in a testing environment.

I'm really excited about this released. I have setup a 0.71.5 and 0.71.6 systems in minutes without problems, just by following your simple yet problem free how-to.
Tonight i will give this new version a spin. I'm quite satisfied with my 0.71.5 box but i'm also looking forward to this version because of the enhancements.

Update to glpi-0.72-1.###.remi.2 with a patch (from SVN) which improve the plugin management.
